Dairy Farming Training under  SUPPORT TO TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN (STEP) SCHEME 

The STEP is a centrally sponsored scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development New Delhi, Govt. Of India. It aims to increase the self-reliance and autonomy of women by enhancing their productivity and enabling them to take up income generation activities. It provides training for skill up gradation to poor and asset less women in the traditional sector viz. agriculture, animal husbandry, dairying, fisheries, handlooms, handicrafts, khadi and village industries sericulture, social forestry and wasteland development. India has the largest cattle population in the world but the average milk yield is less than 600 Kg per lactation, due to severe genetic erosion and acute shortage of fodder resource. 

Our Society is providing training under various Schemes of Madhya Pradesh State Government & Central Government in different trades to different candidates since 11 years.

In “STEP” Scheme of Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi, we have trained 900 rural women in Animal husbandry & Dairy Farming training programme among which 805 rural women has taken loan as per our assistance & after completing there training programs, now they are self employment as an entrepreneurs.

Human Welfare Society is providing training in the field of Dairy Farming & Animal Husbandry under STEP Scheme for the 900 beneficiaries of Ujjain Block as Dairy Farming is identified as a reliable source of livelihood in the various villages. After providing training above 75% women are employment and self-employed.
